I've been using pictures of strangers to practice my painting for a while and I thought that it might be high time now to take on a new approach and probably with it, a new challenge.
I'm going to start using pictures of people I know personally, without giving away the names of the models. If I get lucky I'll achieve a likeness and they will like it.

I can't think of anyone better to kick-start this than the one who not only made me feel like a true teacher for the first time, but also truly happy to be one. The first one to tell me the words "I missed your class".
Without a doubt, one of the coolest people I know. I feel proud to call her a friend.
